Indication
Headache, seizures, focal neurological deficit, screening for ischaemia, mass, demyelination.
Contrast
Add gadolinium for tumour, infection, inflammation/demyelination follow-up, or vascular malformation.

Planning notes
- DWI mandatory in acute presentations to exclude infarction.
